My Book "Rebreathing"

My book Rebreathing is available through the publisher, Authorhouse. It is also available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble where often, when combined with other purchases, includes free shipping. eBook format will be available shortly. This work is a theoretical look at what I consider to be the cause of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). I also propose that this cause of SIDS is also the cause of many learning disabilities, for the most part including, Autism, ADHD, and other disorders. I explain how this could be the case as well as suggesting healthy practices and other possible research that would be worthwhile exploring. This text looks at possible consequences of harmful rebreathing which could occur during the first year of life.

I have since completed research on this topic and have included it in my book The Relationship between SIDS, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Alzheimer's Disease which is available as an eBook from Amazon for your Kindle reader. It's only 99cents.

Best of all, you can download the .epub file below for your reader.

The book can be read online, at no cost and with no adds, please share this link: https://sites.google.com/site/mybookrebreathing/home.

Short bio……

I am an elementary school teacher with an interest in how children learn (or at times fail to learn), and in particular, how the brain learns at the cell level. This is my first venture into writing as I begin by exploring what I believe to be one of the causes of many learning disabilities. I am a Canadian who currently lives and teaches in Aurora, Ontario. I have taught all elementary grades, including Special Education classes, as well as teaching in a one room schoolhouse on a native reserve in Ontario. Before teaching I was self employed in construction in both Quebec and Ontario, drilling and sawing concrete using diamond bits and blades. Prior to that I lived for a short time in British Columbia working on the aerial ferry that had hung across the Fraser River between Boston Bar and North Bend, ferrying cars and light trucks one at a time. I was born and spent most of my early years in Montreal, Quebec. After graduating from Marymount High school, I had studied at Concordia University, as well as the Montreal Institute of Technology. I earned my B.A from the University of Waterloo in economics, and my B.Ed from Lakehead University. I have my Specialist certificates in Special Education, and Computers in the Classroom. As well I have been trained as a Reading Recovery teacher, and have my Principal's qualifications.AND I can now add that I am retired, living the good life up in Muskoka country, and looking a little older than that picture.

All the best to you,

Barry Stanley
